Thicker Materials
Most contractors in our area use thinner gauge aluminum to add a little margin to their projects. We don’t. Shiner uses thicker, stronger.032 gauge aluminum that holds its shape, stays strong, performs over the long haul, and comes with a wide color selection.

Most of our gutter replacement projects take a day or so. However, we rarely get customers who hire us JUST for gutter work. Usually, we’re doing other projects along with gutters. How Long Do Typical Gutters Last In Our Area?
Due to the extreme weather we can experience in the Northern VA–Suburban Maryland region, you’ll be lucky if cheap, generic, low-quality gutters last a decade (and that’s with lots and lots of cleaning and upkeep). For example, vinyl gutters, even in friendlier climates, don’t last more than 15 years or so. Our thicker, premium copper and aluminum gutters should last at least two decades.
