A Look At Four Popular TimberTech Lines
TimberTech offers ten different composite decking lines. Talk about options! You can choose from a wide selection of colors, surface textures/finishes, profiles, accessories, and railing/fencing. Discover the basics of four of their popular collections and get a better idea of the versatility of TimberTech: Vintage, Landmark, Legacy, and Harvest.

Hardwoods: Vintage & Landmark Collection
Looking for a composite deck that’s as close as you can get to a hardwood lookalike? The pattern of Vintage boards is variegated to mimic the natural irregular patches or streaks in ipe, mahogany, and teak.
With Landmark, the focus is on hardwoods like white oak and American walnut.
Vintage and Landmark are made with TimberTech’s advanced PVC technology. This technology features a strong four-sided cap and an ultra-durable solid core made from a blend of virgin and recycled polymers.
- Both collections are Class-A fire-rated and exceed Flame Spread Index requirements.
- Both come with a Limited 50-Year Fade & Stain and a Limited Lifetime Product Warranty.
- Both have greater moisture- and slip-resistance than other generic composites.
How do they differ? One crucial difference is that Landmark boards have more pronounced design patterns.

Realistic Wood Finishes: The Legacy Collection
With the Legacy collection, no two boards look alike. Along with their hand-scraped texture and blend of natural hues, you get mid-tier wood looks that require little to no maintenance!
They also provide moderate water resistance, and the collection is more affordable.
Other Legacy benefits include…
- A Limited 30-Year Fade & Stain Warranty
- Stain-resistant and UV-resistant
- TimberTech’s mold guard to shield from organic growth.
With color-cascading technology, you can choose from six colors: Tigerwood, Pecan, Ashwood, Mocha, Whitewash Cedar, and Espresso. They look gorgeous and are easy to match with any existing aesthetic.

Refined Wood Grains: The Harvest Collection
The Harvest collection mimics stained or painted wood with more traditional grains. You get three inviting colors to choose from: Slate Gray, Brownstone, and Kona. Harvest boards LOOK like well-maintained wood but without the sanding, painting, staining, or sealing.
The boards are also made with TimberTech’s advanced PVC, so you get the extra durability and longevity their lines are well-known for. You also won’t have to worry about splintering or slipping, and their boards tend to stay up to 30 degrees cooler than generic composites.
- Limited 50-Year Fade & Stain and a Limited Lifetime Product Warranty
- Custom designs with color and pattern flexibility
- Better fire safety that exceeds building codes
The word they use to describe Harvest’s grains is cathedral. It’s the pattern you get when you slice a log in half and then “flatcut” strips from the center. It gives you that natural unique one-directional look that beautiful woods are known for.

TimberTech Railing Options
Like their decking systems, TimberTech railing is extremely sturdy, well-built, and engineered to last in our region. They can come in three materials: PVC, composite, and metal (all meet or exceed our building codes).
With TimberTech, you also have near endless railing style options.
Popular benefits of their railing lines include:
- Their railing is as resistant to rot, warping, and fading as their decking materials.
- Combined with accessories like lighting, you can create a unique, sophisticated look.
- Guaranteed to outperform wood railing and need ONLY cleaning to stay nice.
While it can be easy to feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of options and colors and profiles…your Shiner project consultant can walk you through the selection process step by step. We’ll design the perfect decking and railing system for your needs.
