Big News at Shiner Exteriors this past week.
One of our foremen, Manuel Funes hit his 30 Year anniversary with Shiner this past Thursday June 26.
We really hit the jackpot when Manuel came to work for us thirty years ago. Working his way up the ranks, he started as an installer on roofs. Soon, he became a foreman running his own crews and is the most experienced roofer on staff. Manuel is the go-to person for everything from copper work, slate repairs, siding repairs, general carpentry, flat TPO or EPDM roof installations. He does commercial and residential projects. Customers are thrilled with the results when Manuel comes calling.
He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and we truly appreciate all he does every day! He was rewarded on Friday with a special Shiner achievement award, a $10,000 bonus, some great wine and a barbecue party that was a night to remember. Thank you, Manuel! You are one of our greatest assets!
